How much experience do you have in the commercial industry?
TRI-TECH ROOFING & COATINGS, INC. has been in the commercial/industrial roofing industry for the past 30 years in the Atlanta area. Key members of our staff have over 50 years experience in the industry.
Are estimates free?
Yes, the estimates are provided free of charge.
What are my first steps in obtaining an estimate for my roofing project?
Initially you can contact us by phone, e-mail or our information request form. Our Customer Service Coordinator will then obtain your pertinent information and schedule your site survey with you at that time.
Who will I meet with at my site?
Our estimator will come out to your site and do an extensive survey of your present roofing system and take detailed photos. All of that data will be passed on to our technical department who will review your information and provide you with a detailed proposal explaining our suggested course of action for your roof.
Who will present my proposal?
Our Sales Specialist will contact you for an appointment to present to you a complete portfolio with photographs and roof cad drawings with our recommendations. A roofing system unique to your present situation will be recommended to you unless a specific type of roofing system was requested.
Are you licensed and insured? How can we obtain this information?
We are registered with the State of Georgia and licensed and insured. Our General Liability and Worker's Compensation insurance is provided by a top-rated insurance company with the limits that would be required to complete a small or very large project. All of our employees have completed an extensive safety program enabling our company to be one of the top-rated companies in Atlanta for safety. Our modification rating is one of the best in the industry and we have maintained that over the past 30 years. An insurance certificate can be provided for you in a timely manner by our insurance agent. They will e-mail it to you and follow up with a hard copy via the mail assuring you that you have all of the protection that you require for us to start your project.
Is there a contract? What about payment terms for my project?
Your financial requirements will be discussed with you by your Sales Specialist before the contract is signed. The contract will be very specific as to what is expected of our company and yours. We usually require a down payment and draws as the project progresses. Timely invoices will be provided outlining all payments received and due and will be billed to your desired department within your company.
Who is my contact during the progression of my project?
Once the project begins, your contact will still be your Sales Specialist. Since your Sales Specialist is in constant contact with the assigned superintendent of the project, they can answer any questions that you might have. They can provide information and/or solve a situation that might have developed in the progression of the project obtaining a solution for you quickly and satisfactorily.
When will I receive my warranty?
Before or just after the project begins, our Customer Care Specialist will contact you for pertinent information such as the name that should appear on the warranty. Once that is done, the initial application is sent to our manufacturer and an inspection date is scheduled with their department so that the manufacturer's rep can inspect the roof after the project is finished. Anything that does not meet the inspector's approval will be outlined on a punch list. Although we are a Master Installer for our manufacturers and usually obtain the highest rating for our installations, if any changes are required our roof technicians will repair all items on the punch list to the inspector's satisfaction. The manufacturer's rep then submits this information to the manufacturer ensuring that your warranty will be sent to you by certified mail after receipt by our company. Roof system warranties available: 5 year, 10 year, 15 year & 20 year.
What if I develop a leak after installation?
If you experience a leak after installation, contact our Customer Service Specialist and an appointment will be made with you to come out and take a look at the problem. If it is related to the roof installation, it will be repaired at no charge. If however, the leak is caused by other trades on the roof such as HVAC technicians, etc... and they have damaged the roof in their work area during their maintenance, the damage will be repaired at a charge to you as this is not covered under your warranty. Since we have no control over who works on your roof, we cannot take responsibility for damage caused by other trades.
